Design:

The Arzopa G1 features an aluminum alloy frame, making it lightweight and ultra-thin. Its appearance is impressive, with a sleek black finish.

The top and side bezels are quite thin, measuring about 3mm. The bottom bezel is thicker, approximately 23mm, and features a white Arzopa logo. There are two rubber feet on the bottom edge, one on each side, to provide stability.

Protective Case/Stand:

The included protective case/stand is also quite practical. It has a dark gray faux leather exterior with an embossed Arzopa logo in the center. The interior of the protective case/stand is made of rubber material. It can also be used as a stand by folding it back with a magnetic attachment, similar to an iPad case. However, it can only be set at one angle, which may not be very convenient for all users.

Display:

The Arzopa G1 features a 1080p Full HD resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, which is sufficient for a 15.6-inch monitor. Its maximum brightness reaches 300 nits, suitable for most environments, but a bit more brightness would be ideal for well-lit surroundings.

In terms of color performance, the Arzopa G1 provides good color accuracy for gaming, although its HDR support is limited. Given its low power consumption, it performs well as a portable monitor.

Ease of Use:

Connect the Arzopa G1 to your laptop or gaming console using the included Type-C cable, and the monitor will power on and display an image. If your computer doesn’t have a Type-C port but has an HDMI port, you can use the included USB-A to Type-C cable to connect the monitor to your computer for power supply, or use an external power source, and then connect the monitor to your computer, gaming console, handheld, or TV box via the included HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable.

Screen Settings:

Once successfully connected, you can easily adjust some settings using the on-screen display (OSD) menu. Pressing the middle toggle button on the right side of the Arzopa G1 monitor will power it on or off. Rotating it upwards adjusts the brightness, while rotating it downwards adjusts the volume of the built-in speakers.

Holding down the middle toggle button will bring up the full OSD menu. Here, you can adjust settings like brightness, contrast, image sharpness, mode (standard, RTS, FPS, movie, game, or text), dynamic contrast, color temperature, OSD language, position, transparency, timer, aspect ratio (widescreen, 4:3), and HDR (off, 2048, auto).

Performance:

The monitor defaults to a 60Hz refresh rate, and it cannot be forcibly set to 144Hz through the OSD. You need to adjust it in your connected device’s settings. For example, on Windows 11 display settings, you can force the monitor to use 144Hz for a higher refresh rate. If you’re connecting a gaming console like Xbox, you can set the refresh rate to 120Hz through the Xbox settings.
